| Day 2: Gangtok (Trip to Tsomgo Lake) |
| Start for a half day trip of Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.), 34 km from Gangtok city & Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial. Tsomgo Lake freezes completely during the winter and is much revered by the locals. Overnight at hotel.

| Day 3: Gangtok–Lachung (about 117 kms/6 hrs) |
After breakfast pick up (at 9.00 am) from hotel at Gangtok & drive to Lachung (altitude 8610 ft). Enroute visit Singhik View point, Seven Sisters Water Fall, (Lunch at Namak), Naga Water Fall, (Tea break at Chungthang) Arrival Lachung at evening. Dinner at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

| Day 4: Lachung–Yumthang Excursion (24 km. & 11,800 ft) |
Early Morning drive to Yumthang-valley (known as Valley of Flowers), Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the Yaks & winter playgrounds of Yetis. On the way back visit Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Back to resort for lunch. Spent afternoon interacting with the local people taking the idea of their simple lifestyle. | Day 6: Gangtok - Darjeeling (About 98 Kms /4 hrs). |
After early breakfast visit half day sight seeing around Gangtok visit Rumtek Monastery, Flower show, Botanical Garden, Do-Dul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Flower show and cottage industry After lunch drive to Darjeeling is one of the most magnificent Hill Resorts in the World. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

| Day 7: Darjeeling (local sightseeing) |
Early Morning (at 4.00 am) drive to tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga (Worlds third highest peak), on way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop . After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), and Japanese Temple. Evening free (walking tour of mall - suggested). Overnight at hotel.

| Day 9: Bikaner - Mandawa |
| Breakfast Bikaner is a royal walled city on the ancient caravan
route that linked the great trading centres of medieval times
. The junagarh fort , a magnificent complex of marble pillared
halls , has delicately painted chambers and mirror - encrusted
ceilings . Afternoon drive to mandawa . |
| Day 10: Mandawa - Jaipur |
| Mandawa, a picturesque town with a castle, is famous for its frescoes,
patronised by it's inhabitants as recompense for their monochromatic,
drab countryside since the 10th century. We arrive at Jaipur
in the afternoon and have the remaining day for rest. |
| Day 11: Jaipur |
After Breakfast we proceed to Amber. For six centuries amber was the capital of the jaipur state . The Jai Mandir in the stunningly situated fortress -palace is studded with small mirrors which reflect a single candle flame into a thousand flickering lights . Jaipur owes its name to the great astronomer Maharaja Jai Singh . The city palace and the remarkable observatory were constructed by him.

| Day 12: Jaipur- Fatehpur Sikri - Agra |
| After Breakfast we proceed and enroute from Jaipur to Agra lies Keoladeo national park
. Bird watching by cycle rickshaws is a typical Indian experience
. Afterwards at Fatehpur Sikri , Mughal architecture at its best
and well preserved puts us back under the cultural spell . |
| Day 13: Agra - Delhi |
| After Breakfast at Agra, proceed to Taj Mahal, surprises us with an imposing
fort and itmad - ud - daulah's tomb besides the final resting
place for emperor shah Jahan's favourite queen . The Taj Mahal
is a romance in marble and it can boldly claim to be one of the
greatest wonders of the world. We proceed to Delhi by train ,
till date India's most common mode of transport. Overnight at

| Day 14: Delhi - Varanasi |
| After Breakfast we proceed for a City tour of Dellhi, capital of kingdoms and empires
and now a sprawling metropolis has a lot to offer : the red fort
the Jama Masjid, a Sikh temple, Qutb minar Old and New Delhi,
separated by a few kilometers but ages away in lifestyle and
culture , are a window to the Indian kaleidoscope . Later transfer
to Airport for your flight to Varanasi. Overnight at Hotel in
Kolkata. |
| Day 15: Varanasi -Kolkata |
| Like thousands of pilgrims everyday we witness the rising sun while
boating on the holy river Ganga . Our walk along the ghats is
fascinating and startling alike . After breakfast we visit Sarnath,
an important town for the Buddhist faith. Later transfer to airport
for your flight to Kolkata. |
| Day 16: Kolkata - Bhagdogra - Darjeeling |
| Our morning flight to Bhagdogra is followed by an enchanting drive
uphill into the mighty himalayas . Magnificent panoramic views
over endless tea plantations to snowy peaks and down to swollen
rivers in the valley bottoms. Overnight at hotel. |
| Day 17: Darjeeling |
| Breakfast. Darjeeling is perched literally, on the roof of the
world. Situated at an altitude of 2134 mtrs in the Shawdow of
kanchenjunga, the town is a maze of steps and terraces, studded
with exotic little bazaars and infused with the aroma of the
world's best tea. Overnight at hotel. |
| Day 18: Darjeeling - Bhagdogra - Kolkatta |
| Breakfast, While driving downhill from Darjeeling drink in the
poetic, majestic beauty of the himalayas, wholly unspoilt by
humanlife. Later at bhagdogra we board our flight to Kolkatta.

| Day 19: Kolkatta - Chennai |
| After breakfast tour of Kolkata, India's largest city with approximately
16 million people sums up to many of us the worst we heard of
India, but never to a true engali who is inordinately fond of
his city with a soul. Kolkata is largely a British creation,
carrying weight ever since as the country's cultural centre -
and it has scenes of rare beauty not far from the surface. Later
in the evening transfer to the airport for your flight to Chennai.

| Day 20 : Chennai |
| After Chennai, a relatively young city, at least by Indian standards,
has been founded in the 17th century. The traffic is overwhelming
and the most important part of any vehicle seems to be the horn
, the louder the better . Crowded markets are a main attraction,
especially the flower bazaar, where blossoms are sold by kilos
and not by piece. Within the temple of Lord Kapaleeswarar the incense
and chantings are heady. The afternoon is free for your own explorations. |
| Day 21: Kancheepuram - Mamallapuram |
| After breakfast, day return trip to Kancheepuram & Mamallapuram.
Kancheepuram is one of the seven sacred cities of India. There are
about a hundred temples, most of them well preserved. From Kancheepuram
we proceed to Mamallapuram . The relief Arjuna's penance certainly
is one of the most photographed monuments in India. Overnight at

| Day 22: Chennai - Bengaluru - Mysore |
| Early morning Train journey to Bengaluru. Breakfast will be served
in the train. The popularity of Bengaluru and Mysore as residential
and garden Cities stem from their many parks and avenues. Enroute
to Mysore lies Srirangapatnam, capital of the Muslim ruler Tippu
Sultan. |
| Day 23: Mysore - Bengaluru |
| Breakfast. With 21 palaces, Mysore can proudly claim to be the
Palace city of India. The city palace shines out with all the grandeur
and splendour of India's royal past built in the beginning of this
century, it is a superb mixture of exotic extravagance and Europeon
art. Enroute to Bangalore, one more highlight awaits us, the exquisitely
carved Hoysala Temple at Somnathpur. Overnight at hotel. |
| Day 24: Bengaluru - Goa |
| After breakfast transfer to airport for your flight to Goa. The
erstwhile portugese colony and , india's most famous beaches.
